Everything about Camba totally explainedThe China Australia Migratory Bird Agreement is a treaty between Australia and China to minimise harm to the major areas used by birds which migrate between the two countries. Towra Point Nature Reserve plays a role in the agreement, being an area in Australia used by migratory birds. CAMBA was first developed on October 20, 1986 and came into force on September 1, 1988.
There is also a Japan Australia Migratory Bird Agreement: JAMBA. Towra Point is also a Ramsar wetland site (a protected wetland of international importance).
